Sympathies to the Family of Gary Staley, Porter, TX Fireman
Gary Staley died in the Line of Duty on Sunday, January 19, 2003 in
a structure fire in Porter, Texas. Our thoughts and prayers go
to the Family and Friends as well as our Brother and Sister
Firefighters at the Porter Fire Department.
A special fund has been set up for Staley's daughter at Southwest
Bank. The Gary Staley Memorial Fund and Porter Firefighters Fund
have been set up to benefit the two firefighters injured in Sunday's
blaze.
Our prayers are also with firefighters Juan Chapa and Allen Haynes
of the New Caney Volunteer Fire Department. Both escaped the same
fire but were rushed to Memorial Hermann Hospital with second- and
third-degree burns to the face, neck and chest
