George Harlow Awarded

On the evening of October 17, at Strack Family Restaurant, the local Houston Exchange Club honored the George Harlow, Klein District Chief 31 as their fire fighter of the year. Exchange Club President Elizabeth Livinggood presented the award on behalf of the Exchange Club. The award recognizes outstanding volunteer service to the 1960 area communities. George has been a member of the Klein Volunteer Fire Department for 15 years. He has served as a station captain, President of the Board of Directors, Treasurer for the Board and is currently serving his 3 year as District Fire Chief.
