Meet your fellow firefighter
Marcus
Melvin joined Klein VFD in 1995 with Station 35. During this time Marcus
has held several station officer positions such as Lieutenant, Captain
and is currently the Senior Captain for Station 35. He has also served
on various committees during his 16 years with Klein VFD. Marcus is also
an EMT and when he is not at Klein VFD he can usually be found riding
the ambulance or instructing a CPR class for Cypress Creek EMS where he
also volunteers his time. He enjoys serving his community, training and
working with his fellow firefighters. |

Chris
Marchiando joined Klein VFD in 1993 at only 16 years of age and served
an active role at Station 34. Chris soon became a leader at Station 34
and served in elected positions such as Lieutenant, Captain, and
finally, Senior Captain. He also served on the Board of Directors and
has served on several committees for Klein VFD. While volunteering at
Klein VFD, Chris pursued a professional career in firefighting and is
currently employed at the Houston Fire Department. Chris enjoys serving
his community, working with fellow firefighters, and providing training
to future and current firefighters.

Don Wenzel
joined Klein VFD in 1990 with Station 31. During this time Don has held
several station officer positions, served on varies committees and
is currently the 2nd VP for the department. He started his volunteer
firefighting career with Jacinto City F.D. when he was 19 and has since
served with several departments. He enjoys serving his community,
training and working with his fellow firefighters (which are now
'Brothers') and enjoys his son who volunteers at the same station.

George
Harlow has been a member of Klein VFD Station 32 for 23 years. He has
held several positions within Klein, some of which are District Chief,
Senior Captain, Fire Marshall, and currently Captain. George has been a
firefighter for over forty years (he first joined when was 18 years old)
and has been a member of four other Fire Departments. He enjoys spending
time with his fellow firefighters and helping his community.

Pete Zarges,
a member of Klein Station 33 for 33 years. He has held several positions
within Klein, some of which are Fire Marshall, Dist. Chief and Captain.
His most memorable time was when his two children decided to become
members of the fire department. He originally started out as a volunteer
because his brother was a volunteer and has enjoyed the time he spends
with his fellow firefighters.
