Klein Volunteer Fire Department recently held it's annual Pumper Races
and picnic at Meyer Park off of Cypresswood Dr. The purpose of the event is to build
team spirit, refine our skills and interact with the general public. Many area residents
stopped to watch the friendly competition and speak with our firefighters about many
subjects, fire safety, types of apparatus, station locations and membership. Special
thanks to Cypress Creek EMS who also stopped by to make sure we were all doing well during
the competition. The members also ravaged through many pounds of hamburgers and hotdogs
along with gallons of water and Gatorade. It is this type of public interaction that
makes Klein Fire Department so well respected in the community. If you would like
